Film Spring Open is a organization founded by Slawomir Idziak which organizes an annual open air-workshop where young artists have the opportunity to learn by making films and attending lectures conducted by top specialists. At the same time they test hands-on the newest equipment to follow the future of the audiovisual industry .
Sławomir Idziak –prominent cinematographer, director, writer and teacher. Graduated from the Lodz Film School, he worked with Zanussi and Kieslowski, in 2002 nominated for the Oscar Award for „Black Hawk Down” by Ridley Scott, known for “King Arthur” ,”Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix”. As the inventor of the project and the President of Film Spring Open Foundation he created a Mobile Centre Of Audiovisual Education – CINEBUS bus, in which participants have the opportunity to learn the various elements to create film – from concept development through implementation, post-production and projection of the finished movie. The Project involves industry experts. This year, Slawomir Idziak invited to the project among others, French film actress Juliette Binoche.
This year, at the request of orgnizers, we delivered 8 Akurat Lighting panels that complement CINEBUS and are used on partecipant’s plans.
This year the Film Spring Open runs from September 30 to October 9. CINEBUS has already visited the Film Festival in Gdynia (www.festiwalgdynia.pl,) it is also going to arrive at Szczecin European Film Festiwal (http://europeanfilmfestival.szczecin.pl/pl/bloki/68). We are honored to take part in such prestigious event.
